Bears Las Vegas presented a check to the folks at NSPCA for $2,650 on September 17.
They wanted us to let all of our members know how much they appreciate our generosity and they send a great big THANK YOU!!!!
The Nevada SPCA, a nonprofit organization, operates a no-kill animal sanctuary, promotes humane education, makes referrals for lower-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services, and challenges people to be the best possible guardians for the companion animals in their care. Bears Las Vegas is proud to name them the BLV 2016 Q2 Beneficiary.
Bears Las Vegas proudly presented a $1,600 Bear Check to New Horizons at Badlands. Thank you Bears, Badlands, Jimmy Emerson, Ryken, and New Horizons for putting on several great events to support an even greater cause.

There is so much going on in the community! Thanks to The Center, there is now a community calendar for all groups to promote and coordinate events. Bears Las Vegas will be adding our events to this calendar as well. Check it out: LGBTQ.vegas
We like to keep our content fresh and costs low — Our newly redesigned website improves accessibility of our events and information for our members who do not have Facebook. We’re also saving our organization over $400 per year on site hosting costs. We hope you enjoy the new format and if you would like to give us feedback, shoot an e-mail over to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Every Naughty Raffle, Drunken Gummy Bear, Beer or Liquor Bust, Tip and Donation, brings us another dollar closer to helping our fellow community organizations.
This year, Bears Las Vegas gave in a very BIG way. $10,000 was presented to the Sin Sity Sisters at their annual Red Dress X-travaganza. The Sisters use donations like this to help further their SADAP (Sisters Aids Drug Assistance Program).
Thank you – Thank you – Thank you to all of you that support Bears Las Vegas and our mission to the LGBTQ community.
Join us at our next monthly meeting, March 25 at 7 PM at The Center where we will discuss our next BIG GIVE supporting new organizations throughout the year. Have a non-profit 501(c)3 organization you want to support? Let your voice be heard!
